Programme Offered
The School offers Masters and Doctoral degrees by research in 8 fields of studies, such as Biotechnology, Conservation Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. The school also offers a Master degree by coursework in Environmental Management.
The Master in Environmental Management programme is a 3-semester full-time or 6-semester part-time study designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills most vital to successful management of our delicate environment. Students are trained to identify problems, analyze and evaluate data, consider alternative courses of action and apply the best solutions to a wide range of environmental issues. The programme comprises 12 credit hours core courses (Semester 1 - June to September), 12 credit hours specialized courses (Semester 2 - October to January) and 12 credit hours dissertation (Semester 3 - February to May). The medium of instruction is in Malay and English.
