e-VIBS HISTORY

e-VIBS is a research organization established under the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources (previously known as School of Science and Technology), Universiti Malaysia Sabah. e-VIBS conducting client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial and individual business, and other organizations.

e-VIBS was founded as Vibration and Sound Research Group (VIBS) in 2002. In 2008, VIBS was rebranded as Energy, Vibration and Sound Research Group (e-VIBS) with wider field of activities including energy. From 2010 onwards, e-VIBS started conducting multidiscipline research oriented and in 2011, e-VIBS has ventured into commercial research.

On July 13, 2023, e-VIBS was granted the status of Research Laboratory during Faculty of Science and Natural Resources's Senate meeting.

e-VIBS OBJECTIVE

e-VIBS wishes to provide a conducive environment to its members in order to perform their research, expansion, publication, community services and commercialization to national and international level.

MISSION

e-VIBS strives to excel in research, development, publication, community service and commercialization to international level.

VISION

e-VIBS strives to be innovative to establish an organization that aiming at continuous services that providing solution to problems and making innovation to its clients.

SERVICES

Provides services in the form of research, development and consultation to find solutions for any problem and also to make innovation for particular purpose for client's benefit.
