Criteria for a M.Sc degree

In order to satisfy my requirements prior to the submission of your dissertation, it would be most helpful if you

a) have at least  ONE conference proceeding   AND

b) have at least ONE publication in a peer-reviewed journal (with impact factor ) OR

c) have at least TWO publications in a peer-reviewed journal that is indexed in SCOPUS.

Criteria for a Ph.D. degree

A Ph.D. candidate must demonstrate the maturity of thinking and the ability to work independently. This postgraduate program certainly involves a lot of creativity, problem solving and diligent work. A key measurement in a doctoral program is that the work is publishable in peer-reviewed journals. This is also important for your future employability as a faculty member or a researcher/technical staff of a university or research agency. Hence, in order to satisfy my requirements prior to the submission of your dissertation, it would be most helpful if you

a) have at least  ONE conference proceeding   AND

b) have at least TWO publications in a peer-reviewed journal (with impact factor ) OR

c) have at least THREE publications in a peer-reviewed journal that is indexed in SCOPUS.

Please take note that newspapers/buletins/workshop/magazine articles are not counted in either of the above criteria.
